Staring at the sea, the old woman knows she can’t stop the storm.
Thoughtfully, she kisses those who left this land for those turbulences.
Tears on her cheek vaporises in the heat of joy from kissing them.
She prepares her home warmly, ready to open. The children are singing.
And silently, she listens to her wounds, unable to heal in her lifetime.
